GFWC Junior Women's Club of Butler

Who Are We?

The GFWC Junior Women’s Club of Butler is comprised of women ages 21-43 years old with diverse backgrounds and interests.

Our common goals are community improvement and personal development in a manner that fits a busy schedule. We also enjoy getting together for a lot of fun!

We are members of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, the largest non-denominational, non-partisan organization of volunteer women in the world!

Membership in GFWC provides women of all backgrounds an opportunity to take an active role in community, state, and world events.

Our meetings are held on the third Monday of each month between September and May at Lifesteps.

What Do We Do?

We volunteer our time and energy to assist various local agencies and seek out ways to improve our community.

Our main fundraiser is the annual silent auction and raffle called “Twilight Magic”, which raises funds for charitable organizations in our community. In 2008 we raised over $17,000 to aid local agencies.

Throughout the year, our members are involved in a variety of service projects.

This year, we will be helping the community by volunteering at these activities:

* Habitat for Humanity Gift Wrap

* Christie Ave. Park Clean Up

* Caring Angels Telethon
